The simple search screen consists of the following search fields: 1. All fields: use this field to launch a query in all fields (bibliographical details, abstract and classification terms). 2. Author: use this field to look for a specific author. 3. Discipline: use this field to browse the table of contents and to look for subjects and disciplines that are valid from volume 67 onwards (Learn more, 2.3). 4. Ancient authors and texts: use this field to look for an ancient author or text. The usage of Boolean operators and wildcards is allowed in fields with free text input (Learn more, 2.4). These fields also contain an auto-complete function (Learn more, 2.5). The number of hits per search field will be displayed automatically (Learn more, 2.6). The total number of hits appears at the bottom of the screen. The search criteria selected can be removed by using the Clear fields button. Click the Search-button to access the hitlist (Learn more, 3). |
